Ugadi Pachadi | Veppampoo Pachadi
Ugadi is a Telugu new year. Celebrated by telugu people. The day is celebrated by drawing colorful Rangoli, mango leaf decorations on doors, buying and giving gifts to friends and relatives. On that day they prepare and share a special food called pachadi. The pachadi is a notable festive food . It is a combination of all flavors – sweet, sour, salty and bitter. In south Indian Hindu traditions, it is a symbolic reminder that one must face all flavors of experiences in the coming new year. So they make pachadi compulsory.

Ingredients:
Raw Mango- 3 tablsp
Veppampoo- 1 tablsp
Green chilli- 1
Jaggery- 2 tablsp
Tamarind- marble size
Salt- to taste
Method:
Keep Ready all the ingredients. Chop raw mango and green chilly finely. Soak tamarind in little water.
Add jaggery to it. Add chopped raw mango and green chilli. Add salt.
Finely add veppampoo and serve.
