Next to phulka poori is one dish which has got enormous reception in the Indian cooking. Poori is nothing but a deep fried version of the phulka version. This is also an Indian bread which goes well with all side dishes whether vegetarian or non vegetarian.
Poori is an ideal dish suitable for the breakfast and dinner alike. Though many side dishes are there, poori goes along with poori masala well.
The traditional method of poori is to make poori in whole wheat. Poori can be also made in various flour as well as a combination of flour.

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Oil - for frying
Poori Method:
Mix wheat flour and salt. Then add water little by little and knead well to a smooth dough. Then make small balls out of it. Flattened the small balls in to poories using rolling pin.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the poories.
Note:
Don’t add more water to knead the flour as the poories will retain the oil.
