Tomato Pachadi

Chettinad Tomato Pachadi

TomatoPachadi is a traditional Chettinad Recipe often prepared only in Chettinad Homes. Now a days some restaurants are also trying to imitate this dish. Some big restaurants in Cities like Chennai are trying to include these also in their regular menus.

TomatoPachadi is a dish which is both suitable for the Tiffin as side dish and as side dish for rice. If the dal is more then it is suitable for Tiffin, if the dal is less then it is suitable for rice as side dish.
TomatoPachadi is a very good side dish for meals in the afternoons. It tastes sour and nice. TomatoPachadi has a unique taste slightly similar to Tomato Sambar.
