Carrot raita is a good accompaniment of pulka, roti, chapati, Biryani and pulao. It is an easy and good recipe.  It is a healthy recipe too. We can eat as such also.

Preparation time                             - 10 minutes
Cooking time                                     - nil
Serves                                                  - 4
Ingredients:
Grated carrot                                     - 1 cup
Cucumber                                           - ¼ cup
Greenchilli                                         - 1
Coriander                                            - 1 tablsp
Curd                                                      - 1 cup
Roasted cumin powder                           - ¼ tsp
Salt                                                        - to taste
Method:
Peel carrot and grate in a fine grater. Peel cucumber and chop into small pieces. Chop greenchilli into thin slices. 
Carrot Raita

Add curd, salt and cumin powder in a bowl and whisk well. Add grated carrot, cucumber, green chilli and coriander and mix well.

Serve with any pulao or biryani. I served with vegetable biryani.

Method:
Use fresh curd for good taste.
You can use red chilli powder instead of green chilli.
Adding roasted cumin powder gives nice aroma to the raita.

You can dry roast cumin and grind in the mixer.
