Fresh Turmeric Pickle
Turmeric has more health benefits. It controls cholesterol level in our body. Turmeric, ginger and mango ginger belong to the same family and the three have more medicinal values. Fresh turmeric contains large amount of vitamin c. It is also rich in minerals.
As we cannot use fresh turmeric in any other way we can make this pickle, use it and get its benefits. It tastes like mango ginger pickle.
Fresh Turmeric Pickle Ingredients:
Fresh turmeric - 100 grams
Greenchilli - 2
Lime - 4 small
Salt - ¾ tsp
Fresh Turmeric Pickle Method:
Peel turmeric and cut in to thin slices. Cut green chilli into thin slices.
Take the juice of lime. Add turmeric, greenchilli, salt in a bowl.
Add lime juice and mix it well.
Serve it with chapatti, roti or curd rice.
Note:
Turmeric pickle can be used on the same day itself.
This pickle can be good for only two to three days. So you can make it in small quantity.
You can store it in the fridge and use.
