Cornflakes Mixture
Corn flakes mixture is an easy recipe . Ingredients are easily available in our kitchen. There is no hard and fast rule for the ingredients. Whatever you have you can make.

Cornflakes Mixture Ingredients:
Cornflakes - 1 cup
Aval (Poha) - ½ cup
Bengal gram dal - 1 cup
Badam - ¼ cup
Cashew - ¼ cup
Dry grapes - ¼ cup
Curry leaves - ¼ cup
Oil - for deep fry
Redchilli Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Perungayam( hing) - ¼ tsp
Cornflakes Mixture Method:
Soak bengal gram in water for one hour and drain the water. Spread it in the kitchen towel in the shade till the moisture goes. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry bengal gram till the shhh sound subsides.
Fry all the ingredients one by one using the strainer. Fry badam.
Fry cashew, dry grapes and curry leaves.
Spread all ingredients in the tissue paper to absorb excess oil. Fry cornflakes little by little. It will puff up while frying. Finally fry aval , because the oil become dirty when you fry aval.
Mix red chilli powder, salt and perungayam in a small bowl. Add all the fried items in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle redchilli powder salt mixture and mix it well with a ladle.
Store it in the air tight container and use it for a week or two.
Note:
Use metal strainer to fry all items,to avoid burning of ingredients.
You can add fried gram and peanut also.
If you want you can use pepper powder and chat masala also.
Blotting oil is hard to do, but you can spread it in the news paper while making large quantity.
