Chettinad Capsicum Curry is a easy side dish. We can make it quickly. It is go well with all main dishes. You can keep it over the chapati and make it chapati roll.  You can make sandwiches also.

Chettinad Capsicum Curry

Chettinad Capsicum Curry Ingredients:
Capsicum                         - 2
Onion - 1
Garlic - 10 flakes
Tomato - 1
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Sambar Powder - 1 ½ tsp
Salt                         - To taste
Oil                         - 2 tbl sp
Mustard                    - ¼ tsp
Urad dal                  - ¼ tsp
Cumin seed - ¼ tsp


Chettinad Capsicum Curry Method:
Chop capsicum into cubes. Chop onion, garlic and tomato finely. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, urad dal and cumin seed.

Then add onion, garlic and tomato and saute for some time. Then add capsicum and saute for a few minutes.

 Add turmeric powder, sambar powder and salt and mix well.

Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Then open the lid and mix well and serve.


 Note:
You can use color capsicum also.
If you want you can add 1/4 tsp garam masala at the end.
