Kadai Paneer
is a dish made out of squarely cut paneer. It tastes very good with Naan or
Parathas. It also goes well with idly or dosa.
Kadai Paneer
is otherwise known as Paneer Masala. It is the gravy form of Tawa Paneer and it
is with more of vegetables and it is in semi gravy texture. Kadai Paneer can be
made in a jiffy, provided you have the powdered ingredients handy. ) Separately

suitable for Dinner Menu.

Kadai Paneer
Ingredients:
Paneer - 200 gms
Onion - 1 big
Tomato - 1 big
Coriander - 1/4 cup
Green chilli - 2
Ginger - 1 inch
Ginger garlic paste - 2tsp
Red chilli - 2
Cumin (Jeeragam)- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Kasoori Methi - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 2
Cinnamon - 2 inch
Oil - 2 tblsp
Paneer - 200 gms
Tomato - 1 big
Coriander - 1/4 cup
Green chilli - 2
Ginger - 1 inch
Ginger garlic paste - 2tsp
Red chilli - 2
Cumin (Jeeragam)- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Kasoori Methi - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 2
Cinnamon - 2 inch
Oil - 2 tblsp
Kadai Paneer
Method:
Cut paneer
in to cubes. Chop onion and tomatoes in to cubes. Chop green chilli and ginger
finely. Break the red chillis. Heat oil in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom
and Cumin.
When they
crackle add broken red chillis and onions. Saute for a few minutes. Add green
chillis, ginger, ginger garlic paste and tomato one by one.

Then add chilli powder, coriander powder, kasoori methi, paneer, salt and saute well. Add 1/2 cup of water and cover the pan with the lid.

Open the lid and add chopped coriander and allow it to boil for a few minutes. Then serve with Naan, Parathas ,phulkas or Methi roti.
