Chicken Lollipop Manchurian

Chicken Lollipop Manchurian style is also a common chinese chicken recipe which is common in Indian Chinese Cuisine. It is exactly prepared as Chicken Lollipop and later in the form of Chinese Manchurian style. Here also only the Chicken Wings are used and flesh pushed to one end of the bone. The chicken wings are collected and then marinated in a batter and deep fried in oil. Later such deep fried chicken are made to Manchurian style. This is usually an Indo Chinese recipe which is commonly prevalent in Indian Chinese Restaurants. The taste differs according the Chef’s personal experience and the taste suitable for their customers.


Chicken Lollipop Manchurian

You can easily try it your style.
Chicken Lollipop Manchurian Ingredients:
Chicken Lollypop         - 300 gms
Maida - 1 ¼ tblsp
Corn flour                 - 1 tblsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - ½ tsp
Gingergarlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Curd                      - 2 tblsp
Salt                        - to taste
Oil                        - for frying
For Sauce:
White onion - 1
Garlic - 10 cloves
Ginger - 1 inch
Soya sauce - 2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
Corn flour              - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - ¼ tsp (optional)
Chicken Lollipop Manchurian Method:
Mix all the ingredients (except chicken) in the bowl. Clean and wash the lollypop pieces. Add lollypop pieces in the prepared mixture and marinate well without breaking the flesh and bone.

Keep it in the fridge for about half an hour. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the lollypops.

 Chop onion, ginger and garlic finely. Heat 2 tblsp oil in a frying pan and add onion, garlic and ginger one by one. Saute for about five to ten minutes.

  Mix corn flour in little water and mix it well without lumps. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and corn flour and stir without taking the hand.

 If the sauce become transparent add fried lollipops and stir well and serve.

Note: 
You can use spring onion also.
Garnish with green part of spring onion.
I don’t have spring onion while making this recipe. So I garnish with coriander leaves.
