Nannari sarbath is very good herbal juice for summer. Nannari keeps our body cool. Instead of making Sarbath we can also put the nannari root in a pot of water and we can drink it. The smell of nannari is very good. It keeps us away from the summer diseases like rashes allergies caused due to heat and much more. Basil seed is also a cooling agent. Both of them combine and prevent us from sun strokes. Basil seeds are also known as “SABJA”. Sabja seeds are used in faloodas also. I love Nannari Sarbath. Whenever I go to my native (chettinad) I get this nannari syrup from there. We can get different types of nannari sarbath there. They topped with Basil seeds, tender coconut. Instead of using lime juice they use Naarthangai juice. Naarthangai is also good for health.
