Let us see how to make coconut chutney
Coconut chutney Ingredients:
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Fried gram - 2 teaspoon
Green chilli - 3
Salt - to taste
For Tempering:
Oil - 2 teaspoon
Mustard - ¼ tsp
Urad dal - ¼ tsp
Curry leaves - few
Red chilli - 2
Coconut chutney Method:
Grind coconut , fried gram, green chilli and salt in a mixie.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves and broken red chilli.
Add this to the ground chutney and serve. I can serve with Rava kitchadi and Idli.
Note:
You can add 2 garlic cloves while grinding to enhance the taste..
You can add 1/2 inch of ginger also.
Add fresh curd before tempering. This will give light tangy taste.
Add 2 sprigs of coriander leaves while grinding. This will give nice aroma to the chutney.
